As avid gardeners and outdoor enthusiasts our family has always sought to
enhance our landscape and Patio with beautiful,comfortable outdoor
furnishings. We are especially fond of benches but despite extensive
searches over the years,were unable to find anything that caught our
interest.
What was available from garden centers,and catalogs were either
outrageously expensive or boring and inferior. Benches which were readily
available from larger garden centers were made of light metal or wood.
Homeowners will attest to the fact that after only a few months
outdoors,these benches will become grungy,rot or warp due to exposure to
the elements. Plastic benches were found to be structurally unsound and
un-natural. Wrought iron while beautiful was very pricey. We knew
concrete would be the best option but found only plain utilitarian pieces
that lacked imagination and character.
We finally decided to create our own garden benches,with all the features
and styling that we wanted - comfort,fun,durability and beauty. After
almost two years of designing building and testing,we finally created a
garden bench that not only captured our imagination but that of countless
friends and family. We created the WOODSY BENCH.
